It used to be a person would get a “good” education, which would lead them to a “good” job, which they would have until they retired. But like we said, that’s how it used to be.
Now, even if you pay a ton of money for a good education, you’re not guaranteed anything. Many college graduates find themselves in jobs they could have got just out of high school.
And if you do land a sweet job, many companies today will have no problem letting you go if they can:
• Send the work somewhere else that’s cheaper
• Have the work automated, or
• Trash your position because they don’t feel it’s necessary
If all you see is that, it definitely can be scary. But the cool thing is that everything that has “torn down” our previous mode of operation is now giving all of us the opportunity to create our own passion-filled career.
A way more exciting perspective!
The internet and all the amazing online tools that are available make it so easy to get started. And they also create a global connection where communication and commerce can happen wherever, whenever.
It’s led to the creation of the “Reinvented Generation”.
There are many that have already ditched their 9-to-5 and have learned to create their own income off things like their own websites, blogs, YouTube and Instagram. They are using their own ideas, passions and skills to thrive in the shifting economy that is happening right now.
They’ve reinvented themselves!
And you have that same opportunity. All it takes is for you to make the decision to do it, get some help along the way and enjoy the process.
Ask yourself this… “Do I want to wait until everyone else is already doing this or do I want to start now?”
