I love the social media because it allows us all to communicate with each other rather than feeling lonely when we are not physically in the same room together with other human beings. Human communication and relationships are very important. This leads me to say that as an educator myself, I would not favor electronic means of communicating with students. I feel that in person communication, where a student can get emotional feelings from the warmth and caring attitude of a teacher, is something that can have beneficial effects that last a lifetime.

Hey hey,

Do you guys know how to "move" Facebook friends to Linkedin? Is there an app that will scour your Facebook friends and tell you which ones are on Linkedin?
