It's All About Sharing…

Some of the buzz words that are out there these days are: tribes, syndication, promotion, etc. Broken down into it's simplest form, it's all about "sharing".

What we are really doing when we syndicate other people's content is share it with others. If we feel there is value in someone's content, then we in turn want to share it with the people in our circle of influence.

Yes, we can put big words to this process and make it sound very technical, but in reality we are sharing something we feel has value with people we believe will benefit from it.

That statement holds so much…
1) Sharing: Giving to others, knowing that there is abundance and more than enough for all of us. We were taught at a young age that sharing is a good thing… well, that's one life lesson that is so true and one that carries on throughout our lives. Sharing is not only for the young.

2) Value: What is something worth to you? If it has value, then it is worth more than the time, energy and money that you would put into it. If content has value to you, then it is worth the time and energy it takes to share it with others.

3) Benefit: Assisting in the development and growth of an individual or their life's work. It helps them, moves them along or gives them ideas and insight into possibilities.

If we find something we feel has value and will benefit others, then we are obligated to share it with them.

So join a tribe… it's a great place to develop relationships and get into the practice of sharing. But if you happen to see something online outside of your tribe that you feel is of value and will benefit others, by all means, share that too.

The world is a better place when we all think in terms of abundance, helping others and sharing the things we deem as valuable.

  1. So true Pat! I like the picture – it really symbolizes what tribes are and how they network to bring more connectivity and power to syndication. Sharing, Value, Benefit – absolutely in that order and the long term benefit? Success from the value of sharing. What do you know …. it came full circle. :-)

PS. Hope Lorna got pampered and spoiled on Mom's day.

    Kellie,

Thank you so much for your perspective on this… we love the way you created "The Tribe Circle"!
It's amazing how something we've learned as little children is an important part of our lives no matter what age we are.

    Thanks so much,

    Another great post my friends.
Live is all about sharing value with others for the benefit of enriching their lives. What we give away we always get to keep and will multiple in abundance for us in return. Thanks for all the great value you share with us all. Many blessings for your success.

    Make it a great day!

If we can't add value to peoples lives, then we need to rethink our purpose. It's great to have something to share and be appreciated by others and know that you have contributed something worthwhile. Thanks

    Bill,

So true… our purpose is based on what we can share with others and how we can be of service to them.
We don't believe life would be complete if we didn't have anything of value to share with others… it makes life so worthwhile.

    Thanks,

Once we start to share valuable content from others it not only helps them which is your goal anyway but it also helps you and you can establish some great relationships along the way.

  5. Hi Pat and Lorna,
I think the Tribe concept is really exciting. I plan on joining the TSA and Gavin's group… but for me my passion is helping women have wonderful birth experiences and changing mindsets about birth. I think this will be a way to do that. Also, it's a findamental truth that people make everything happen, without people we would have nothing, so sharing and helping, giving and receiving just makes total sense..
your friend, lesly (a tribe newbie) :-)

    Lesly,

Welcome to TSA! So glad you joined.
I think your passion is a wonderful path and can help so much. As the mother of 3 children, I can totally relate to creating a wonderful and memorable experience of childbirth.
It is all about people… and the relationships we create are so very important.

    Thank you for visiting

The power of sharing has completely changed the spirit in which Internet Marketers are doing business. It's also changed the productivity of business. Both the one who receives the value and the one who shares the value are benefiting like no other time in history.

  11. Wouldn't it be great if we did this off line a lot more as well. The giving aspect and sharing without return seems to be lacking in a lot of offline relationships today as well, or at least in some of the ones I experience. But then again I am in the teaching business in a high school where dealing with young males who seem to have not yet learnt the art of sharing. Strong male role models for boys are lacking – but don't get me started on that one.

    Belinda,

We totally agree with you. It would be wonderful if we all shared throughout our lives and not just online.
And it's true, so many people have not figured out that's not all about them… but about sharing… joy, love, content, etc., etc.
Kudos to you for helping our young people get a great start in their adult lives.

    Thanks,
