In Alex Mandossian's blog post he talks about the 33 Slow-Read Book List. We found this interesting and wanted to expand on the knowledge and the books on that post.

Unfortunately Alex didn't show us a picture of the book, or any information related to purchasing the book.

So we have created a Dynamic Information Map of Alex Mandossian's Book List for 2010.

In this map we have included the following:

  • Titles and Sub-Titles of the books,
  • The Authors,
  • A link to the books in Amazon for easy purchase, and
  • Any information on the Authors or books within Wikipedia.

We have created a video showing how to use the map below to get the Amazon links to open in a new browser tab. (no audio) http://screencast.com/t/MTVhYjM3OD

If you see a blank map, then you'll need to have Java working within your browser. Here is a link that will Test Your Java.

Note: If you click on the "icon" to the left of the thought, the related website will appear in the window below "The Information Map".

Hello Pat & Lorna! What a great idea. A fantastic way to further enhance our experience with TSS, Alex and as a growing community! One thought to share with you is that I am finding the maps a bit difficult to work with and the amazon link is not taking me directly to the particular book…. I work on a MAC and I seem to have all the necessary software… hmmm. Any thoughts on that?

Keep up the fantastic work and thank you for inspiring and providing great information…

ps… I also linked your RSS feed to my Google Home Page…so easy! Now I can keep up to speed on your postings from there too.

Thank you again,
Corinne
