In this 2nd video of the series we continue showing you how to set up your Public Profile at Gravatar.com. Gravatar allows you to have your image appear beside the blog comments you leave on other people's posts.
The Gravatar public profile allows you to add information about you, public images you wish to share, and contact information (Phone #, Skype,etc.), allows you to verify social networks, and share public links such as websites.

It's not just a way to have your picture/image appear when you comment on blogs, but it is so much more with the public profile. Verifying and listing all our social media sites on the public profile is a great source of potential new friends and followers. You have to make sure that XML-RPC is turned on for you blog to do the verification. Wordpress Dashboard => Settings => Writing => Enable the WordPress, Movable Type, MetaWeblog and Blogger XML-RPC publishing protocols.
